WOMEN SECTION ::

Considering the fact that women here in Nepal are in disadvantaged condition, especially in the rural areas, this organization is planning to broaden its provision of services to those areas not only centralized in the city. So, we are organizing different programs to motivate the women who are socially backward, in the name of culture and tradition. In Nepal, women are supposed to live within their houses and foster their children, they are considered responsible for the maintenance of the house hold. They are treated as almost a mechanical device whose job requires them to give birth to and raise their children. For thousands of years women have failed to be treated as part of their society as they are confined to their individual lives, looking after their husband and children. Although the women in the city areas have gained a stronger position in society where they are respected and accorded better opportunities in line with any qualifications they may have, the women in the rural and sub-urban areas are still not allowed to go to school and participate in social affairs. We are determined to raise the standard of life for women by launching different skill developmental programs and adult-literacy programs.

As women are the only ones who can really influence the whole structure of the family in terms of education and social behavior, the development of women is of utmost importance. We also hope to change the minds of those bearing orthodox views, believing women should not be treated as active members of the community. We will be focusing on raising the educational standard of women so that she can herself motivate a change in the orthodox views of her family and also raise awareness in the society. If this process proves successful it will not be such a struggle to develop the nation. We want to pioneer the process leading to the development of women so that it can undoubtedly benefit the improvement of society.
