Sanitation program held to clean the premises of Maitidevi temple on ‘World Environment Day’

NPADSN has been conducting various awareness programs regarding environmental conservation and management. This organization is actively trying to raise awareness regarding environmental conservation from the community level since its very inception. The city areas here in Nepal are in dilapidated condition and not even a single effective program is being launched from the government level. Although a few programs have been introduced at different times, people here are turning a deaf ear to them. Even the more educated people are not supporting such environmental awareness programs. Consequently, there has not been any remarkable progress in the development of environmental conservation in our country.

This organization has always tried to incorporate a considerable number of participants from the local community in the environmental programs, in order that not only the more educated people but also those who may be illiterate and uneducated can discover the needs of the community regarding its environmental conservation. By this we can confirm a better level of development. Not only the educated groups but also those suffering from a poor education have some responsibilities towards their society. By the launch of such programs we can also acquaint everyone to the ways of conserving our environment, guaranteeing its prolonged management. Such projects ultimately lead to a better environment and a better life for all.
