ACTIVITIES ::

List of activities conducted so far by NPADSN:

PAST ACTIVITIES :
In order to provide continuation of our cultural rituals and rites at minimum costs, NPADSN has conducted following programs;
  • Bratabandha ceremonies and Bel-bivaha ceremonies (A brief introduction to the ceremonies are given in the ‘culture section.’),

  • Legal education and awareness programs for women,

  • Blood donation drives,

  • Health camps conducted in the local community,

  • Safe drinking water initiatives,

  • Infrastructure works programs,

  • Specific disaster related relief for national and international situations,

  • Supply of basic amenities to twenty five orphans under our care,

  • Honorary programs,

  • Cultural recognition.

In addition to these developmental programs, our organization has conducted various initiatives, such as interaction programs among different social organizations, management of visits to different religious sites for elderly citizens and also participation in the various government programs organized by the Kathmandu metropolitan office.

2003 ››

  • 2003 Febuary 19th (2059/11/07):
    Joint Bratabandha ceremony held.

  • 2003 June 10th (2060/02/27):
    Women’s law education, a one week program providing basic legal education.

  • 2003 June 22nd (2060/03/08):
    Maintenance of drainage system of ward - 33, Kisan Galli with the help of Kathmandu metropolitan office.

  • 2003 July 31st (2060/04/15):
    Construction and maintenance of drainage system at Ganga marg.

  • 2003 September 2nd (2060/05/27):
    Blood donation program was conducted for the first time under the slogan "Blood donation for peace".

  • 2004 January 30th (2060/10/16):
    Joint Bel-bivaha ceremony held.

  • 2004 March 7th (2060/11/24):
    Public drainage maintenance program in Maitidevi.

  • 2004 April 27th (2061/01/15):
    Management and maintenance of main hole cover at Janta marg and Panch kumari marg.

  • 2004 May 2nd (2061/01/20):
    Construction of road at Panchakumari marg and Janta marg in conjunction with Kathmandu Metropolitan office.

  • 2004 June 12th (2061/02/30):
    A cultural program held in order to provide stationery and clothes to the orphans and disadvantaged children.

  • 2004 July 24th (2061/04/09):
    The second blood donation program.

  • 2004 July 24th (2061/04/09):
    Distribution of certificates and trophies to the artists who performed in the cultural program and books and stationery to the orphans.

  • 2004 October 1st (2061/06/15):
    Maintenance of drainage at Gumti marg.

  • 2004/5 (2061):
    Elderly citizen honorary program held to honor Mr. Bhuwan Das Pradhan.

2005 ››

  • 2005 February 12th (2061/11/01 and 02):
    Joint Bel-bivaha ceremony held.

  • 2005 April 2nd (2061/12/20):
    Free health camp organized and distribution of free medicines with the joint collaboration of Apollo Poly clinic at the premises of the Maitidevi temple.

  • 2005 May 27th (2062/02/14):
    The third blood donation program was conducted.

  • 2005 June 24th (2062/03/10):
    Repair of roads at Gumti marg.

  • 2005 July 4th (2062/03/20):
    Cleaning of public drainage system at Janta marg, Kishan galli.

  • 2005 July 20th (2062/04/15):
    Free health camp and free distribution of medicines with the joint collaboration of Apollo Poly clinic and Saraswati Kunja school.

  • 2005 December 1st (2062/08/16):
    Fund raised for the earthquake victims of Pakistan.

  • 2006 January 7th (2062/09/23):
    Distribution of certificates and trophies to the artists who performed in the cultural program and to the donors and other organizations as well.

  • 2006 February 18th (2062/11/07 and 08):
    Joint Bel-bivaha ceremony held.

  • 2006 March 25th (2062/12/12):
    Forth blood donation program with the hope of peace placement in Nepal.

  • 2006 May 6th (2063/01/23):
    Re-distribution of stationery and clothes to the orphans and disadvantaged children.

  • 2006 May 13th (2063/01/30):
    Participation in the peace rally organized on the auspicious occasion of ‘2550th Buddha Jayanti’.

  • 2006 June 17th (2063/03/03):
    Meeting conducted with the active participation of local people and free distribution of water purifying drugs.

  • 2006 August 4th (2063/04/20):
    Fifth blood donation program.

  • 2006 August 19th (2063/05/03):
    Honorary program held to credit esteemed members of the community.

  • 2006 November 4th (2063/07/18):
    Honorary program in joint collaboration with Lalitkala Indrayani Samuha, along with the distribution of stationery to the orphans and disadvantaged children.

2007 ››

  • 2007 February 24th (2063/11/12 and 13):
    Joint Bel-bivaha ceremony held.

  • 2007 April 21st (2064/01/08):
    Distribution of stationery and clothes along with scholarships to the orphans and disadvantaged children within the premises of Maitidevi temple.

  • 2007 June 2nd (2064/02/19):
    Sanitation awareness program held in the premises of the Maitidevi temple on the occasion of “World Environment Day."

  • 2007 June 17th (2064/03/03):
    A one-day workshop regarding local development and effective management.

  • 2007 July 21st (2064/04/05):
    Blood donation program for the sixth time.

  • 2007 August 7th (2064/04/22 and 26):
    Conduction of an awareness raising program regarding cholera with the slogan “safe water, healthy life”

  • 2007 August 10th (2064/04/25):
    Fund raising program held for the flood victims with the help of the students of Albert English Boarding School.

  • 2007 October 12th (2064/06/26):
    Distribution of winter clothes and stationery to the orphans.
